Land-Based and Agricultural Solar Power Plants (SPP)
Field irrigation can be carried out without any need for the grid, thanks to pumps powered by solar power plants. In these systems, the electricity required for deep-well and surface pumps can be supplied by the sun.
Under the latest amendments to the Unlicensed Electricity Generation Regulation, facilities used for agricultural irrigation may now build generation plants based on renewable energy sources, at the same or a different metering point as the consumption facility, with a capacity of up to twice the contracted capacity in their connection agreement; other persons remain limited to the contracted capacity in their connection agreement.

Roof Types Suitable for Solar Power Plants
A solar power plant consists of three main parts: panels, inverter and mounting structure (installation equipment). The energy generation targeted with rooftop solar panels is limited to the amount of energy the building consumes. The area available for mounting solar panels on residential roofs is limited, and the roof may not face south, the direction in which solar panels generate electricity most efficiently. In addition, shading caused by structures on the roof, such as chimneys, may prevent the panels from generating efficiently. For this reason, a detailed survey is needed so that a home can benefit from solar energy as efficiently as possible.
Because of the limited mounting area available on building roofs, the number of panels that can be used will be small. High-output panels should therefore be preferred. In rooftop solar power plants, the choice of inverter is also important for system efficiency and return on investment.
