Under the latest amendments to the Unlicensed Electricity Generation Regulation, facilities used for agricultural irrigation may now build generation plants based on renewable energy sources, at the same or a different metering point as the consumption facility, with a capacity of up to twice the contracted capacity in their connection agreement; other persons remain limited to the contracted capacity in their connection agreement.
